Invisalign aligners consist of a series of clear plastic, removable appliances that move your teeth in small increments. After undergoing a pretreatment examination including x-rays and photographs, impressions will be taken of your teeth that are sent to Align Technology where your series of custom aligners will be fabricated. The total number of aligners varies depending on the complexity of your orthodontic needs. Most patients can be treated with Invisalign for orthodontic treatment; however, some cases will require treatment by an orthodontic specialist.
